Old commercials give us an interesting snapshot of public discourse, the history of businesses and famous brand names, consumerism, as well as entertaining and amusing us. For some it can be nostalgic; for any regular TV watcher, commercials remind us of day’s past and the pop culture of the time. Some of us see the toys or snack foods we now realize that we kicked and screamed for simply because the commercial was cool. Or an anti-drug campaign where a drug dealer morphs into a reptilian.
