I think the point of this commercial is that “Atari offers so much crap that you can’t possibly carry it out the door or you’ll break the bank trying.”    Only the most masochistic impulsive shopper would allow themselves to be burdened down in such a way, like our gulliable friend in this commercial.  Little did he know, he was about to be flooded with retro-video game heaven.

Included in this Atari package is the Atari system with Pac Man, two rotating controllers, two joysticks.  He then bawks at over “300 different cartridges”, a voice module, a track ball, remote control joystick, and a computer keyboard, amazing!   That’s everything… until Nintendo comes out.
