I was surprised to find this oldie – I didn’t know the word “Diet” even existed in marketing back in the 1950’s. And for all things it’s for canned fruit nonetheless.

Well, Diet Delight is the fruit cocktail with half the calories of regular fruit cocktail. Sounds exciting.

Charlie the Tuna must’ve been a horrible tasting tuna. Instead of becoming 100% prime fillet eaten by children, he attempts to impress Starkist by painting for them. I wonder what he painted. Perhaps it was a self-portrait, served in a bowl mixed with mayo, celery, pickle relish, and hard boiled egg. Yum!
