Honey Smacks, touted for their explosion of honey taste, was sold to America’s Children in the 1980’s with the frog Dig-’em. Dig-em the frog’s voice changed over time but in this commercial had a clear, bassy tone that was probably really uninteresting to children.
I always thought it was strange that a cereal about Honey was presented with a frog at the helm. What on Earth does a frog have to do with honey? Perhaps this is a species of honey-producing frog I’m unfamiliar with.
