Jill seems to be a creepy, tween girl version of Teddy Ruxpin. Let’s lay out a few facts:
- Freddy Krueger-esque stripes.
- The thin, long neck of a giraffe.
- A smile that never fades.
- A jaw that barely moves.
- Animated arms that flail about.
- The height of a toddler with the appearance of a tween.
- She has an obsession with being human.
- …and worst of all, she also speaks in French.
Honestly… is there one aspect of this toy that doesn’t say “creepy”?

I’m pretty sure this came out when I was in between 23 -25. I’m almost 50 now. What’s that tell ya?! (smile)

They sold these when I worked at Hill’s Dept. Store, in the mid-80s. Creepy isn’t the word.
