Although I don’t have the facts, I think it’s safe to say that McDonald’s has spent more money on advertising and marketing towards children more than any other restaurant has ever done in history. In fact, McDonald’s advertising has caused mixed reactions from both the FCC in the United States as well as the public about the limits to children’s advertising.
In this short commercial, Ronald and some strange character are walking around in some twisted fairy-tale land and Ronald has a problem – he needs to get to the boys and girls in McDonalds, and in a hurry! This strange character in McDonaldland (Does anyone know who this is?) gives Ronald his imaginary car and Ronald rides all the way to the closest McDonalds to cheer with the kids.
