Home / 1970s / Featured Articles / Food / My Bologna Has a First Name – Oscar Meyer (Mayer!) Classic Jingle
Four year old Andy Lambros breaks the baloney down Oscar Mayer style in this 1974 ad:
My bologna has a first name, it’s O-S-C-A-R
My bologna has a second name, it’s M-A-Y-E-R
Oh, I love to eat it every day,
If you ask me why I’ll say,
‘Cause Oscar Mayer has a way with B-O-L-O-G-N-A
Not too sure what he’s doing with that stick and a string. Catching tadpoles for his baloney sandwich? (By the way – yes, I prefer ‘baloney’).

Adam, okay, let’s look at the details. The title above, in bold print reads, “My Bologna has a First Name – Oscar Meyer Classic Jingle.” However, in the details below this the “jingle” reads, “My Bologna has a second name, it’s M-AY-E-R.” Is it ” Mayer or Meyer?” Those who question the validity of the Mandela Affect, alternate universes, conspiracy theories, and\or “enigmas, folded gently into dough, wrapped inside cellophane” are left wondering how vulnerable are our memory really?
Nothing is valid, nothing..we live in nothing.
Most definitely an obvious example of Mandela Affected residual evidence.
Most definitely an obvious Mandela affected piece of residual evidence….. Further down the rabbit hole we go.
How’s that!?
