Colonel Sanders was proud of his special recipe fried chicken. So proud he wanted to promote it himself on television. In this spot, the Colonel sits down with some family…maybe it’s his, maybe it’s someones, but ah well who cares, there are kids who can sit on his lap. Anyway, the late Colonel Sanders explains how Famous Recipe fried chicken is made to perfection - along with the signature bucket o’ chicken for the whole family.

The voice at the end (the short 5 second jingle) refers to himself as the colonel, but this voice is clearly not the colonel. I suppose the colonel was then what he is now – an epithet to delicious fried chicken.
