This commercial teaches us that in the world of Teddy Ruxpin, there are two things that don’t exist in reality:  5 year olds plotting surprise birthday parties with expensive gifts, and Grubby.  Grubby is a multi-legged smiley centipede looking species that is a strange companion for a bear, but Teddy’s closest companion, nonetheless.
